Chris Sims: Owner and Head Trainer. Chris first found out about CrossFit during the summer of 2005 while attending the Special Forces Qualification Course at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. After realizing what a serious "smoking" one could receive with just a 20 minute workout, he decided to make CrossFit his primary strength and conditioning program. Chris is Crossfit level 1 certified and holds specialty certifications in Crossfit Football, Crossfit Coaches Prep Course, Mark Rippetoe's Starting Strength Seminar and an intensive 1 day seminar with Olympic lifting Coach Caleb Williams. He has a B.A. in Social Sciences, is a U.S. Army Green Beret, Army Ranger and Jumpmaster qualified. Chris is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom and has participated in numerous marathons, ultra marathons and triathlons.
Ryan Hart. Trainer. Ryan is a a Crossfit Level 1 Certified Trainer, Crossfit competitor, and has also completed two 50K ultramarathons. He was introduced to Crossfit by a friend and after a little research on the internet and being introduced to "Fran" he never looked back. Having found Crossfit to cover such a broad range of movements he believes that any other training method would just be plain uncivilized. He enjoys the opportunity he has been given to help and coach CFEC athletes to not only attain but to far exceed their health and fitness goals.
Jessica Hungerford. Jessica is a CrossFit level 1 trainer. She was first introduced to CrossFit in July 2009 with her intro WOD- Murph and has been hooked ever since. It's not just a hobby to her it's a lifestyle. Prior to being introduced to CrossFit Jessica was a certified ACE trainer with specialties in special population training, functional training, and sports performance. She also holds a USATF (USA Track and Field) Level 1 coaching certification where she’s developed endurance programs for the average exerciser to the competitive athlete. Jessica is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with degrees in Exercise and Health Science and Marketing and currently works in the IT industry.
Erin Stewart. Erin is Crossfit Level 1 Certified, Crossfit Endurance Certified, and CrossFit Kids Certified. As a Crossfit Trainer and athlete, Erin loves the challenge and intensity of the random workouts the Crossfit program offers. It never gets boring and it produces results! She strongly believes in the importance and power of nutrition as it plays a critical role in achieving optimal performance and living a healthy lifestyle. Erin lives by example and passes healthy, lifelong habits on to not only clients, but to her children as well. Curt Disser: Curt is a CrossFit Level 1 Certified trainer. He was introduced to CrossFit by his sister in 09/09 and has never looked back to the globo-gym. Curt has been able to gain 10+ pounds of muscle and lose 10+ pounds of fat in a year thanks to CrossFit and proper nutrition. Curt wants to help others achieve similar results. Curt enjoys trail running and participating in Adventure Races such as, Warrior Dash, Navy Seal Extreme Challenge and The Tough Mudder.
