CrossFit
East Cobb is
a dedicated CrossFit facility and strength and conditioning gym. We train
with the CrossFit method which emphasizes “Constantly varied, high intensity,
functional training”. We perform multi joint, multi muscle functional
movements that are natural to the body and that you can use out in the real
world: pushing, pressing, pulling, squatting, climbing, throwing, lifting,
running, rowing, etc. We use a variety of tools and techniques to achieve
results including but not limited to free weights, kettlebells, plyometrics,
medicine balls, and gymnastic movements.
Every time you walk in the door at CrossFit
East Cobb there will be a CrossFit Certified Trainer who will guide
you through the warm up and coach you during the Workout of the Day (WOD). Our
small group fitness classes ensure hands on attention and instruction; you will
never be on your own. During the week we train on all ten CrossFit
Fitness Domains which are: cardiovascular respiratory endurance, strength,
stamina, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination, and accuracy.
Our strength program places a heavy emphasis on basic barbell movements such as
the squat, deadlift, bench press, and overhead press. The Olympic lifts,
clean & jerk and the snatch will be introduced for select members after
January 18th, 2010.
Because of the quality of our
training, unique programming, and our background we attract clients from not
only East Cobb but all over the Atlanta area including Buckhead, Sandy Springs,
Dunwoody, and Roswell. We have trained everyone from soccer moms and
football dads to Marines, Army Special Operations Forces, and everyone else in
